The Duerst Guest House was built is 1914 by John W. Duerst, a Swiss farmer. This large brick house features original oak trim and floors. The foyer and upstairs bathroom still have the original inlaid ceramic tile. The current owner of the house is a descendant of the original builder and is proud to have this treasure back in the family.
